Welcome to Our School
Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare in Winston-Salem, NC. My name is Juwon Crowell and I am the school director.
At La Petite Academy, we offer education-based care for Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers, and School-Age children. Our teachers want to make a positive difference in your child's life - we strive for success at all ages!
We have an outstanding staff dedicated to our children and families. More than half of our teachers have over five years of teaching experience in addition to a background in early childhood education.
Our school has developed partnerships with local organizations to offer enriched learning experiences for our students. Winston-Salem Forsyth County's Mobile Library, Little Hooper's Gang, ABC Music, and Spanish lessons are some of the enrichment programs that we offer.
With safety being our #1 concern In our school, my staff and I are doing everything we can to make sure this is adhered to. Our safety measures include:
-Mask compliance per state mandate for staff and students
-No visitors or parents inside the building
-Temperature and symptom checks for staff and students before entering the building
-Staff cleaning and sanitizing high touch areas before, during and at the close of business daily.
-Constant updates for wellness checks during the day for our families through our brightwheel app parent communication app
-WatchMeGrow is coming soon for families to view and/or listen to their childcare
via live-streaming video during center operation hours.
Lastly, families we are preparing for the upcoming school year by keeping learning on track! We know you want your elementary school child to be grade-level ready. I have been serving in the field of education for 15 years. My wife and I have two daughters and a son. I believe in the "servant leadership" characteristics to empower my team and educate students by giving them real, hands-on experiences in the classroom.
