Discover Our Educators

At La Petite Academy, we’re proud to support our educators, so they can be effective in sharing our research-based curriculum and inspiring the development of children in all our programs. That’s why we work tirelessly to help them develop their skills and further their careers, so they can become the best educators they can—and your child gets the best experience possible.

La Petite Academy’s Learning Management System: Our professional development tool provides current training on child development and classroom best practices.

Child Development Associate Credential (CDA): We’ve partnered with the Council for Professional Recognition to provide a CDA Preparation Program. Our online courses enable teachers to pursue a nationally recognized CDA credential.

Master Teacher Program: Once they’ve earned their CDA, teachers can enroll in our Master Teacher Program, to develop even further. They’ll discover advanced courses in child development, assessment, and curriculum implementation. Once the program is completed, our Master Teachers become mentors to our new teachers.

School Education Manager Program: This unique training program produces curriculum experts. School Education Managers (SEMs) enjoy ongoing professional development and learn about classroom observation and evaluation. They coach and mentor other teachers to ensure a quality educational experience across all our programs.

Teacher Feature

March & April

It is a joy to watch Miss Mandy’s interactions with her Pre-K students! She has an associate degree in the field and a Child Development Associate® (CDA) Credential, along with nine years of experience with our team at La Petite Academy in Niceville, Florida. An outstanding Lead Teacher, Miss Mandy shares very creative documentation of learnings with displays, charts, and graphs showing the children’s work, along with showcasing student-created projects and artwork. Anyone who walks into her room is instantly impressed by all the evidence of learning and how involved the children are. Miss Mandy also goes above and beyond in her role to keep children engaged by creating very detailed classroom newsletters and a fun, interactive monthly calendar.

Our Curriculum
