Welcome! My name is Amy and I am the academy director here at La Petite Academy in Raleigh, NC. I have worked in the early education field as a teacher, trainer, mentor and director for 22 years. I have a master's degree in education with minors in child development, family and community services, and curriculum and instruction.
Our school - which includes state-of-the-art technology, classrooms and playgrounds - offers Infant Care, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and other age-specific programs.
We pride ourselves in having a safe building. Our doors are equipped with a security system and only those who are authorized are able to enter the building with a special code. Also, with our new mobile app, you can receive real time photos and updates about your child throughout the day!
Our staff has more than 90 years of combined experience and they each have their North Carolina Credentials, are certified in CPR/First Aid and are working towards various degrees in early education. Infant teachers and management also have completed an ITS-SIDS training class and they renew every three years. Throughout the year, our staff participates in professional training conferences.
We are located between the Six Forks North subdivision and 540. We serve the needs of parents in the North Raleigh area, near Millbrook and Neuse. Please schedule a tour of our La Petite Academy educational daycare today to learn more!

Education: B.S. in Early Childhood Education
I have worked with La Petite Academy since 2007. I started my career in the early education field as a teacher and moved into the role of the assistant director. I enjoy working with families and children.
Education: B.A. in Family Consumer Science (60+ credits)
Certifications: NC Credential I/II, NC Admin Credential I/II
I have worked in the early childhood field since 2010. Most of my experiences come from working in the infant/toddler programs. I enjoy supporting educators and helping them grow in their positions within the field.
