Welcome! Our school - which includes state-of-the-art technology, classrooms and playgrounds - offers Infant Care, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and other age-specific programs.
We pride ourselves in having a safe building. Our doors are equipped with a security system and only those who are authorized are able to enter the building with a special code. Also, with our new brighthweel mobile app, you can receive real time photos and updates about your child throughout the day! We will also be introducing this summer WatchMeGrow live-streaming camera access for our families!
During these times of uncertainty of Covid-19 staying healthy at school is our number one priority.
Following CDC guidance, we're taking extreme care to maintain a safe, healthy school environment.
We do temperature and wellness checks, we keep limited access to classrooms and enhanced cleanliness and hygiene practices.
We also know that at these times we need to keep learning on track for our school-age children. Our Prep Lab supports School-Age students with distance learning with STEM projects and character development activities with a new full day option!
Our staff has more than 90 years of combined experience and they each have their North Carolina Credentials, are certified in CPR/First Aid and are working towards various degrees in early education. Infant teachers and management also have completed an ITS-SIDS training class and they renew every three years. Throughout the year, our staff participates in professional training conferences.
We are located between the Six Forks North subdivision and 540. We serve the needs of parents in the North Raleigh area, near Millbrook and Neuse. Please schedule a tour of our La Petite Academy educational daycare today to learn more!
Starting at the front door, our already robust health and safety procedures have been enhanced to ensure a clean, welcoming school environment. The well-being of your child is our top priority, now, and always.
Our first priority is making sure infants both are safe and feel safe, in a nurturing, stimulating classroom. Toys and materials allow for freedom of movement within safe boundaries, so children can explore, develop motor skills, and engage their curiosity.Learn More

I have worked with La Petite Academy since 2007. I started my career in the early education field as a teacher and moved into the role of the assistant director. I enjoy working with families and children.

I have worked in the early childhood field since 2010. Most of my experiences come from working in the infant/toddler programs. I enjoy supporting educators and helping them grow in their positions within the field.
