Welcome to La Petite Academy of Powder Springs, GA. Located at the corner of C H James Parkway (Hwy. 278) and Brownsville Road, our school provides childcare, preschool, and early education experiences for local families. We aim to create a welcoming environment where children can develop confidence, discover new interests, and enjoy learning.
Our school offers Infant, Toddler, Twos, Preschool, Pre-K, and Before- and After-School Club programs, along with engaging summer camp experiences, in a safe, secure, and healthy learning environment. Our exclusive Learn as We Grow® curriculum uses hands-on, play-based, and inquiry-driven experiences to encourage children to explore, imagine, and ask questions. Our Before- and After-School Clubs also serve children from kindergarten through fifth grade. Our goal is to provide fun, engaging, and educational experiences in a warm, nurturing environment every day. Through age-appropriate activities, children develop communication, creativity, independence, and foundational skills that support kindergarten readiness.
Families at our Powder Springs school also enjoy the convenience of an all-inclusive daycare experience, including meals, snacks, diapers, and wipes, as well as on-site enrichment activities. Flexible, part-time care options are also available for families who need additional scheduling flexibility. Safety and comfort come first in our Infants Program, where Primary Caregivers offer your little one personalized attention. Learn from the Start™, our exclusive milestone-based curriculum, guides every experience, from sensory play to early language and motor skill building. The classroom is designed with everything teachers need at their fingertips, so they can stay by your baby’s side. Sensory pools and mats, activity gyms, and other age-appropriate toys and materials engage all five senses, inspiring curiosity and exploration in a safe space. With a maximum teacher-child ratio of 1:4, your baby always feels the love and attention they need. Diapers and wipes are also included, giving families one less thing to worry about each day.

Our Summer Camp program, Wondercamp, gives children a summer filled with discovery, creativity, and fun through hands-on activities, outdoor play, and engaging weekly themes. Designed for toddlers to 12-year-olds, this full-day program encourages imagination, curiosity, and collaboration with friends. Older campers also enjoy local field trips, while younger children meet in-school visitors and participate in special events. Enroll your child for a week or all season long.
