Welcome to Our School
Welcome, Pleasanton and Tri-Valley families! Thank you for considering La Petite Academy of Pleasanton for your child’s early education journey. Since 1995, our school has proudly served local families from our convenient location in the Hopyard Village shopping center at the corner of Valley Avenue and Hopyard Road. Our experienced teaching team brings together more than 100 years of combined experience in early childhood education.
We provide care and education for children beginning at 6 weeks old and guide them through each stage of development with our comprehensive Learning Path program, including Toddlers, Twos, Early Preschool, and Preschool. For our School-Age students, we also offer after-school transportation from select schools within PUSD.
Our all-inclusive tuition is designed to make life easier for families and includes meals, diapers, classroom supplies, and access to our exclusive SproutAbout communication app. Through SproutAbout, families can stay connected throughout the day by viewing live classroom streaming, receiving diapering and meal updates, and tracking developmental milestones.
We proudly offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families, including full-time and part-time enrollment with 3- or 5-day schedules. We also offer FlexPass drop-in care based on availability.

Kristina Spink, Director
Education: BA in Human Development, Early Childhood concentration. AA in Early Childhood Education
Certifications: Director Permit from California Commission on Teacher Credentialling
II began my career as a Teacher’s Aide over 20 years ago and earned multiple degrees in Early Childhood Education while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. I have taught children of all ages in many educational settings and spent seven years leading a licensed preschool program within a K–8 parochial school. In 2025, I became Center Director at La Petite Academy of Pleasanton, where I continue my passion for early education.

Education: BA in Early Childhood Education, AA in Child Development
Certifications: CPR & First Aid Certified
I earned an AA in Child Development from Merritt Junior College and a BA in Early Childhood Education from Mills College. I began my career as a Toddler teacher and was promoted within 18 months to Program Director and later Assistant Director. After 32 years with that program, I served as Enrollment Director and later Center Director at another school for five years. I proudly joined La Petite Academy in early 2026.
