Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare in New Port Richey, FL! My name is Ann Marie and I am the academy director. I have an associate's degree in early childhood education as well as 33 years of management experience.

Our school, including infant care and preschool programs, is nationally accredited by NECPA. The standards that we follow are higher than the State of Florida's Child Daycare Licensing Standards.

I strive to create a warm and welcoming child care environment here in New Port Richey and maintain an open-door policy for anyone who would like to talk. We plan a lot of events for everyone to participate in and I work hard to ensure that families meet each other and develop strong relationships.

We have an outstanding staff that is dedicated to our children and families. All of our teachers receive monthly training provided by the state.

I started my journey with La Petite Academy in 1989 in Spring Hill, Florida. I enjoy having a hand in children's development at every age level. I strive to always provide the best care and customer service to the families I serve.

My employment with La Petite Academy began in 2001. Teaching children has always been my passion. I enjoy watching children meet their developmental milestones as they learn and grow.

Danielle Baratta, Team Lead

Certifications: Child Development Associate

I began my employment with La Petite in 2010. Along with being the team lead, I am a lead VPK teacher, as well. One of the most fulfilling parts of my job is preparing children to go to Kindergarten.
