Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare in New Port Richey, FL! My name is Ann Marie and I am the academy director. I have an associate's degree in early childhood education as well as 33 years of management experience.

Our school, including Infant Care and Preschool programs, is nationally accredited by NECPA. The standards that we follow are higher than the State of Florida's Child Daycare Licensing Standards. I strive to create a warm and welcoming child care environment here in New Port Richey and maintain an open-door policy for anyone who would like to talk.

Along with serving preschool children we also transport to three local elementary schools. The schools we service are Deer Park, Marlowe, Cottee River and Seven Springs.

We have an outstanding staff that is dedicated to our children and families. All of our teachers receive monthly training provided by the state.

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is a free daily, 4-hour program that includes breakfast and lunch, with the option of extended wrap care. I started my journey with La Petite Academy in 1989 in Spring Hill, Florida. I enjoy having a hand in children's development at every age level. I strive to always provide the best care and customer service to the families I serve.

Tiffany Grizzel, Assistant Director

Education: High school diploma, acquiring my Associates in Early Childhood Education

Certifications: 45- hour state mandated classes, CPR and 1st aid

I began my journey with La Petite in 2013 and knew right away that this was my passion. I instantly fell in love with the philosophy of early education and continue to move forward in understanding young minds. I love that I get to witness children learn new developmental milestones and see their excitement as they do so.

My employment began with La Petite in 2022. Working with children and watching them learn and grow has always fascinated me. I am currently working on my Director's Credential to help lead my school. I enjoy working with all age groups within my facility and look forward to meeting you soon.
