Welcome to Our School

Thank you for visiting La Petite Academy educational daycare in Lincoln, NE! My name is Amy and I have been with La Petite Academy since 2013. I have a degree in Psychology.

Our school is accredited through NECPA and we work to ensure each child reaches his or her fullest potential and becomes a lifelong learner! I run this center like everyone involved is an extension of my own family and I maintain a safe and warm environment. We plan a lot of events for everyone to participate in and I work hard to ensure our families meet each other and develop strong relationships.

Several of our teachers have more than five years of teaching experience and all of them receive ongoing training, as well as required annual training provided by the state.

Great school with caring teachers and a wonderful STEM curriculum that allows our children to question and explore. The app is amazing, too, giving us the ability to keep up with what our children are doing and providing us with pictures and videos to help us ask them about their day.

I love this school and so does my son. He gets to play with other kids and learn in a safe place. A lot of the time he doesn't want to leave. His vocabulary has expanded so much he is talking more. I love La petite and so does my son that's all I need to know.

The director and teachers have been wonderful. Our son attended a prior daycare, which he dreaded going to every day. Now, he actually gets up in the morning ready to go to school. He randomly said yesterday that he loves his new school. This means a lot to us because our son is a shy, cautious, and sensitive boy who does not like transitions. The school must be doing something right!

I have enjoyed working in the early childhood industry for over 20 years. I love watching children learn and celebrating with them when they achieve a new milestone. I am passionate about helping the children build a love for learning and I take pride in building strong relationships with our families.
