Welcome to Our School
My name is Gretchen and I am the director of La Petite Academy daycare and preschool in Las Vegas, NV. Originally from Syracuse, New York, I moved to Las Vegas in 2018 in pursuit of new adventures. During my career in child care I have been a nanny, lead teacher, after school teacher, residential counselor, educational specialist, and director. I have a bachelor's degree in human development/child psychology and am currently earning a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling/marriage and family therapy.
We provide care and education for children six weeks to five years of age. All of our teachers are certified in CPR/First Aid and take part in continuing early childhood education hours and receive regular training throughout the year. Our unique curriculum follows children in our Infant through Pre-K programs and is tailored to your child's unique needs and interests.
