Welcome to La Petite Academy in Kenosha, WI! My name is Kari and I am the center director.
Our Infant Care and Preschool programs provide the perfect foundation for learning and development. We strive to create a warm and welcoming environment and maintain an open-door policy for anyone who would like to talk. We plan a lot of events for everyone to participate in and we work hard to ensure our families develop strong relationships with our staff and each other.
We are excited to offer new technology in our school-age classroom. These enhancements include iPads featuring apps to create art, music and videos, tripods for moviemaking, robots for coding, a new gaming system and more!
More than half our teachers have been with our Kenosha school for five years or more and together, they have 130 years of experience combined! Our teachers stay current by participating in monthly training sessions and other training opportunities. All teachers are CPR and first-aid certified.

I have worked at La Petite in Kenosha since 2004, and began my career here as an assistant teacher working with all ages of children. I believe that education is extremely important and that every child should have a sound foundation for their academic years and the opportunity to succeed.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Purdue University
I have been working at La Petite in Kenosha since 2012; I taught Junior Kindergarten and worked my way up to the management team. My goal is to make sure every child has an equal opportunity to succeed and that the teachers have the accurate resources to achieve these goals.
