Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare in Huntsville, AL. My name is Kristi-Douglas McCauley and I'm the academy director! I was educated at Jacksonville State University and have been an early childhood educator for more than 23 years. I am dedicated to delivering quality care and education to children through our many early childhood programs including learning-based infant care, preschool programs and more.

I enjoy the personal relationships I have formed with parents and children and truly feel like an extension of their families. This school has been a part of the Huntsville community for 19 years and we have a unique building that is warmly decorated with a burst of bright colors and a feeling of love throughout.

I have a great group of teachers! More than half of them have worked at this location for at least five years and together, they have more than 100 years of experience in the classrooms. They receive monthly training and attend ongoing training sessions in CPR and first aid. We currently have Child Development Associate-qualified teachers on our team.
