Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy here in Henderson, NV!

We are so much more than a daycare! Our center offers premiere early education programs, including Infant Care, Preschool, Pre-K, and School-Age options.

We have an incredible team of teachers at our school. All staff members participate in training throughout the year to stay current in the field of early childhood education and care.

Melissa Troutmon, Director

Education: AA-ECE Directors Emphasis

Certifications: CPR, Signs of Illness, Child Abuse & Neglect, SIDS, Child Wellness, ECE Child Development and all other required trainings.

I am a mom of three! I was a Director for Kids 'R' Kids for 13 years. I started my journey in ECE when I was 18. I fell in love with the creative and curious love of learning and decided to go to school for it. I have worked in all aspects of the education field and have even worked with children with special needs where I learned ABA therapy. I absolutely love seeing the children learn and explore their environment!
