Welcome to Our School
Welcome to La Petite Academy in Henderson, NV. My name is Dara Stubbs and I am the academy director. I have been in the early childhood education field for more than 17 years.
We serve the Henderson, Silverado Ranch, and Anthem Communities, and we provide care and education for children from six weeks to seven years of age through our Infant Care, Preschool and other programs. In addition, we also provide a Kindergarten Readiness Program and many extracurricular activities.
Our school has been in this area for more than 30 years! Some of our teachers have been with us for over 15 years and together, we have 163 years of experience. We are all certified in CPR and First Aid. Our teachers also take part in continuing early childhood education hours and receive regular training throughout the year.
Safety is one of our main concerns, so our doors are secured with codes that only parents and staff have access to. We have an open-door policy and encourage parents to come in any time. We take pride in the relationships that we have built with our parents and have special family events such as barbecues, game nights and more!

I have been a part of the La Petite Academy family since 2001. I was so excited to expand my role at La Petite, first as an assistant director and now as a director. At La Petite, we know that play is the most important role of a child and we strive to maintain a environment where your child can grow and thrive while exploring their environment and learning through our brand specific curriculum.
