Welcome to Our School
Welcome to La Petite Academy daycare and preschool in Gold River, CA. We offer programs for Infant and Toddler, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and School-Aged children. My name is Michelle and I am the School Director. I have been working in the early childhood education field for over a decade and started with the company as a teacher before becoming the school director.
Our school is filled with highly-qualified, passionate and dedicated teachers whose love for teaching and learning are evident in every part of the school day. From circle time to outdoor exploration to building lasting friendships, children who join our family are confident and ready to tackle the world!
We take extreme care to maintain our safe, healthy school environment. We have coded entry doors and staff certified in CPR as well as first aid. Regular wellness checks are conducted throughout the day. We've strengthened our already rigorous cleanliness and hygiene practices (including more frequent, longer hand washing; cleaning and sanitizing surfaces and items in classrooms). We employ these measures to ensure your child can learn in the best environment possible. And so that you can have peace of mind while we're taking care of them.
Being apart from your child can be a challenge. That's why we're excited to provide ways for you to stay connected throughout the day, every day, when they're at school. Our brightwheel mobile app allows you see photos and videos of your child learning in addition to receiving learning updates from your child’s teacher. We also offer the WatchMeGrow program. WatchMeGrow gives families the opportunity to view their child's activities in their classroom in real time through secured access on your computer, phone, or tablet. Never miss a moment away from your child again.
Plus, this fall we are offering The Prep Lab. This program supports school-age students and their families as they face any challenges and changes in their local school district this upcoming school year, with flexible scheduling and even a full-day option. Our teachers have been trained to support local school district distance learning so children stay on course with their studies.
