Welcome to Our School

Welcome to the Germantown La Petite. We are located at 19901 Father Hurley Blvd on the corner of Wisteria Drive. My name is Amy Wiles and I am the center director. With my many years of experience, I can confidently say that our school provides the highest quality of care and education for children as early as six weeks through School-Age.

Our teachers are highly skilled professionals with many years of experience in early childhood education. Upon hiring, all staff are subjected to extensive background checks and also required to participate in yearly education training.

Kierra Alvarez, Director

Education: B.S Psychology and A.A Education (English minor)

Certifications: 90 Hr Infant Toddler , Preschool, School Age and 45 Director

I am a Montgomery County native. I attended Spelman College and obtained my B.S in Psychology, I also obtained my A.A in Education , with and English concentration. I love working with children. Children are the insight to our future. If we encourage them to explore their minds and express their interests with no judgement, they are more likely to be confident in who they are and in their decisions. I am happy to provide quality care for your children and encourage their learning .

Amy Wiles, Assistant Director

Education: Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Development & Associates of Arts in Music from Frederick Community College

Certifications: ADA, Medication Administration, First Aid and CPR, Supporting Breastfeeding in Child Care
