Welcome to La Petite Academy in Frederick, MD! My name is Alison and I am the director. I have a bachelors degree in early childhood education from the University of Maryland and more than 10 years of experience. I have been with the La Petite family since 2013 and have watched my son grow up here.
I can confidently say that La Petite Academy offers the best infant care, preschool and school-age programs in Frederick. Our classrooms are equipped with iPads so teachers can communicate with you in real time throughout the day. We value the relationships we have with our families and work hard to involve them. We offer a number of opportunities for our families to attend monthly events, including Parents Night Out, Family BBQ's, and more.

My passion for people and children is what drove me into this field. The best thing about my job is giving teachers the tools to be successful and inspiring them to be great educators. I'm also a sports enthusiast - you'll find me cheering on a favorite team or on the sideline at my kid's game.
Education: Bachelors in Child, Youth and Family Studies and Elementary Education
Certifications: CPR and First AID
I have worked with children in an educational capacity for seven years now and I am grateful to be a part of each child’s learning journey; watching them grow their talents and develop new skills. I love spending my time engaging with the children and teachers within the classrooms and building a sense of community so our center feels like a second home for all.
