Welcome to La Petite Academy in Ellicott City, MD!
Children are the leaders of tomorrow and we understand the importance of their developmental milestones during the early years. Our staff members participate in training throughout the year to ensure we are providing the best care and education for our students. We have even launched a Prep Lab program for School-Age to support e-learning and bridge the gap between school years.
We are excited to share that one of our very own teachers has won our company's prestigious Teacher of the Year award! Our Master Teacher Dana Megaughey is an amazing part of our school and ensures the curriculum is implemented to the highest standards. We are so proud to have her at our center! Our teachers will stay in touch with our brightwheel app and soon, WatchMeGrow, will provide live-streaming camera access for our families.
In this uncertain time, we're taking extra precautions such as temperature checks and wellness checks throughout the day. Along with curbside drop off to minimize classroom access and more.

Education: Early Childhood Development
I have been in the early childhood field for over 10 years and I love helping the children grow and develop into their own person. I have a three-year-old son who loves coming to school to learn and play with his friends. I am so grateful to be able to have the opportunity to teach tomorrow's leaders!
Education: General Studies
I am one of eight children and decided that I wanted a career where I could teach and encourage children the way I helped my brothers and sisters growing up. I have a beautiful little girl named Faith and I am so excited to learn and grow with the children.
