Welcome to La Petite Academy in Concord, CA! We are a place of Early Care and Education full of joy, wonder and a sense of belonging.
Here at La Petite Academy we recognize that the first five years of a child's life are foundational and critical to creating a life-long love of learning. It is also an important time in developing your family’s connections to each other/your community. We support this by providing a robust, individualized curriculum along with variety of opportunities for family engagement and involvement.

Our school serves children as young as six weeks all the way through age five. We offer a variety of schedule options for busy families. We also provide employer sponsored back-up care through Bright Horizons Family Solutions.
The curriculum for all our programs is assessment-based, which guides the teachers in creating activities to fit the culture of the classrooms and each student's individual developmental needs. We look at the whole child to ensure that every aspect of their growth & development is supported & provided for daily. We also provide an amazing meal program that nurishes their bodies while we engage their minds.

Education: A.S. degree in Early Childhood Education, B.A. degree in Consumer and Family Studies. Certificated specializations in Infant/Toddler Development.
Certifications: Infant/Adult CPR; Preventative Health and Safety Practices, Training and Nutrition, Program Administration.
Early care and education is my passion, and supporting families brings me great joy. The first five years of a child’s life are critical to their development and form the foundation for all they will become. I have been with Learning Care since 2018, holding several management roles within the organization, and I bring more than 30 years of experience in early childhood education. I look forward to continuing this important work for many years to come.
