Welcome to La Petite Academy in Columbus, OH! My name is Usha Bhaktava and I am the academy assistant director. I have a masters degree in Business administration, CDA and a certified master teacher. I have been with the company since 2016 as lead pre-k teacher and assistant manager.
We offer Infant Care, Preschool and other age-specific programs. Our experienced teachers seek training in a variety of topics including health and safety, curriculum and developmentally appropriate practices . All our teachers are trained in First Aid and CPR.
We value the relationships we have with our families and love to involve them in our many events including Winter activities, Thanksgiving Feast and more.
Our main hallway skylights allow natural light to fill our building, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. Our playgrounds are equipped with climbing structures, along with grassy areas, a basketball court, and soccer goals.

Education: Bachelor's of Science
My name is Carrie and I am the academy director. I have a bachelor's degree in early child education and have been with the company since 2003 as a teacher and a manager. I have two children of my own and know how important teaching and learning is to young children. I love hosting family outings at La Petite so we can get to know the families and create a growing community. I look forward to meeting you and your child during our tour.
