Welcome to Our School

Welcome to our La Petite Academy educational child care center in Columbia, SC! My name is Gracie Kubischke and I am the Academy Director. I have been with La Petite Academy since 2019 and have more than 10 years of experience in Early Childhood Education.

Most of our teachers have been with La Petite Academy for more than two years and either have degrees in early childhood education or many years of experience. All of our teachers are CPR and First Aid certified and they receive yearly continuing education training.

We offer quality care for children six weeks to five years old in and around the Northeast Columbia area. I have an open-door policy and encourage active involvement in all of our events so that families feel comfortable and secure.

I truly value the interactions I have with my families and seeing their children learn and grow through our Infant care and Preschool programs. I feel a sense of accomplishment in hearing about our students who go on to become successful because of our early education foundation.

Elizabeth Woodard , Assistant Director

Mrs. Liz has been an educator for our company for over nine years now. She has a passion for teaching our young children how to prepare for Kindergarten. She strives to bring out the best in everyone who enters this building. She knows every child and parent who is enrolled and loves to speak to all the little ones. She is a great inspiration to all the teachers and helps mentor new teachers coming in.
