Welcome to Our School
Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare in Colorado Springs, CO! We also serve the communities of Peyton, Falcon, Security, Widefield, Fountain, Fort Carson and Peterson. My name is Heidi and I am the academy director.
Since we opened in1995, we provide a welcoming, high-quality learning environment through our Toddler Care, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, Before- and After-School care and other early education programs.
We have a fabulous group of teachers who have a true passion for what they do. Our teachers receive ongoing training to learn the latest findings in the field.
We’re committed to providing simple ways to keep you connected throughout the day while your child is in our care. With live streaming video, you can view your child’s classroom from any device or computer. Plus, get real-time updates with our family communication app.
We closely follow recommendations from state and local authorities, to maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment.

Certifications: Director Qualified in the State of Colorado, Infant Toddler Supervisor, First Aid/CPR & Standard Precautions
I love working with children and families. I have worked with children in an administrative position for 17 years and I received the District Bright Star award. I am a mother of three children. I enjoy spending time with them and taking our dog on hikes.

Amanda Duckery, Assistant Director

Certifications: Director Qualified in the State of Colorado, Infant Toddler, CDA, Licensing Large Center and Home Daycare Certification, ECE Classes, FA
I've worked with children in the classroom for 14 years. I've been here at La Petite Academy for going on six years and a part of the management team for two. I am so excited I was able to make my way up to Assistant Director. I have a beautiful daughter and on my off days I'm enjoying time with her exploring the city.
