Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare and preschool in Citrus Heights, CA.
My name is Robin Rivas and I am the Academy Director. Working with children is not a job for me - it is a passion of mine that I have loved doing for the last 14 years. I am excited to offer a quality child care and education program to our community.
We would like to invite you to come in and see all that our wonderful school has to offer. Our school includes Infant/Toddler care, Preschool, TK, and School-Age programs that provide the perfect foundation for learning and development. Our amazing staff has over 75 combined years of experience here at La Petite Academy, Citrus Heights. We take pride in fun, exciting, and educational programs for the children in our care.

Robin Rivas , Director
Education: Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education
Certifications: CPR/First Aid/AED, Health and Safety Training
I have a true passion for early childhood education and enjoy being a part of a child’s growth and development. I have 14 years of experience in child care and education, and I have been the Director of La Petite Academy since 2024. My goal as the Director is to provide a safe, loving, educational environment that meets the needs of our children and families. I take pride in our school and our amazing staff, and I am proud to offer your family everything that our wonderful school has to give!

Ari Calo, Assistant Director
Education: B.A. in Child Development and Adolescent Development
Certifications: CPR/ First Aid Certified, Early Education Certification
Ms. Ari has more than 15 years of experience working in the ECE field and has always had a passion working with children at a young age. She started volunteering in preschools as a high schooler and after graduating went straight to becoming a preschool teacher. She graduated from San Jose State University with a B.A. in Child development and has had experience with working with children from infancy through school age. She's very dedicated and loves creating long lasting experiences!

Olga Gutierrez , Team Lead
Education: Associates in Early Childhood Education, B.A. in Human Development
Certifications: CPR/First Aid/AED
Ms. Olga has been working in the early education field for more than 10 years. She has been working for this company since 2017. She has always had a passion for working with young children. She's very dedicated at at her job and loves creating memories with the children and their families. She loves seeing the smiles on the kids and families every day. She works hard to ensure the safety of everyone in the school.
