Welcome to La Petite Academy in Charleston, SC! My name is Shannon and I am the director of this outstanding school! I have been with La Petite for 10 years and I love the experiences I have had as an early childhood educator.
Whether it's providing loving care for infants, participating in activities in our Preschool programs, or prepping tomorrow's leaders through one of our other age-specific options, I love getting to watch so many little ones learn and grow!
We are excited to offer new technology in our school-age classroom. These enhancements include iPads featuring apps to create art, music and videos, tripods for moviemaking, robots for coding, a new gaming system and more!
My staff and I are committed to the highest standards of excellence when it comes to care and education in a secure environment. Staff members participate in training throughout the year to stay current in the field of early childhood education. I have an open-door policy and encourage active involvement in all of our events so that families feel comfortable and secure.
