Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare in Cedar Rapids, IA! My name is Sarah and I am the assistant director. I have worked in early childhood development as a lead teacher for over eight years and as an assistant director for the past year.

As a leader in early childhood education and care, La Petite Academy has developed a unique curriculum for infants all the way up to Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten students. These curricula set the standard for early childhood education by helping children to develop critical-thinking skills and intellectual curiosity for success in kindergarten and beyond!

Our school participates in the Iowa Quality Rating System and we are currently working towards becoming nationally accredited through NECPA. We serve children ages six weeks to 12 years old and bus to two local elementary schools. Our teachers have a multitude of combined education and experience in the field and participate in training throughout the year!
