Engaging signs show picture schedules to help with understanding routines; "I Can" posters encourage responsibility, while other posters highlight resolution and behavior expectations. This center offers the opportunity for children to create and express themselves through free art experiences, plus sensory exploration.
Children explore and investigate the world around them, while learning to sort, classify, count, order, measure, and manipulate a variety of materials.
Here, children will understand how to use different materials to construct, create, and learn how things fit and work together.
This is a quiet space to relax, read books, tell stories, use puppets, and explore writnig materials and concepts.
In this space, children will work on gross motor skills, coordination, and spacial awareness, while using their energy in a positive way.
In this area, children will use their imaginations to play different roles and relate to real-life experiences, while pretending and working together.
Our indicator-based curriculum, Learn as we Grow™, has been specially designed to meet the needs of 30- to 42-month-old children preparing for Preschool. It guides them toward mastering significant indicators (or milestones) across 10 developmental scales:

The ability to express ideas and feelings through music, movement, visual arts, and drama.
Milestone: Labels or describes “drawings” or scribbles.
The ability to use conversation skills and vocabulary to communicate effectively.
The ability to demonstrate phonological awareness, alphabet knowledge, early reading, and early writing skills.
The ability to sequence, solve problems, and think critically.
The ability to understand numbers, patterns, sorting, and ordering; the ability to use numbers to add, subtract, measure, and graph.
The ability to understand the natural and physical world; the ability to observe, describe, predict, and gather data.
Milestone: Inspects/manipulates moving parts of toys (e.g., wheels).
The ability to understand themselves, their families, their communities, and their world.
Milestone: Initiates interactions with playmates.
