Welcome to La Petite Academy of Oklahoma City. We are a 3-star NECPA Accredited educational program that is safe, secure, and full of actively engaged learners. Hello my name is Donte'na Wrice (Shey), I have been working in the child development industry for 22 years, owning my own Development Center for the last five years. I became a member of The Learning Care Group organization in October of 2020. My overall goal, and objective, is to lead a team in teaching each individual child their basic fundamentals, and self help skill. I am a strong believer that our children are our future.

As the assistant director, I feel privileged and excited to be a part of La Petite Academy. I have 12 years of child care experience. I am passionate about working with children and being a part of their growth and developmental process. My goal is to lead and assist our staff into providing an exceptional educational experience for your child. I look forward to establishing a relationship with all of our families and partnering with our parents and teachers to ensure lifelong learning.

I started my child care career as the lead infant teacher and branched out to the management team as the team lead to make a bigger impact on the entire school. I enjoy assisting teachers expand their knowledge of the curriculum and spending quality time with the children. I've always had a passion for working with children and enjoy providing a safe, structured learning environment in which our students can succeed. I look forward to working with you and your child on their learning journey.
