Welcome to Our School
Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare and preschool in Taylor Ranch, NM!
Our school offers Infant Care and superior Preschool programs. We also offer Yoga and Spanish auxiliary programs; these classes are for children ages three and up.
We are excited to offer new technology in our School-Age classroom. These enhancements include iPads featuring apps to create art, music and videos, tripods for movie making, robots for coding, a new gaming system and a secure WiFi network for homework. We also offer The Prep Lab Workbooks which will address the lost class time that children have experienced across the country. These target critical literacy and math skills, allowing children the opportunity to practice these skills so that they will be better prepared to enter the next grade level in the fall.
La Petite Academy remains committed to doing everything possible to support our community. That starts with a healthy, safe environment for your child when they're away from home. We are closely following guidance from the CDC, as well as state and local officials and health authorities, as we take extreme care to maintain our safe, healthy school environment.
We are accredited by National Early Childhood Program Accreditation and the standards we follow are higher than the State of New Mexico's Child Daycare Licensing Standards. Our child care center holds a five star rating through the New Mexico AIM high program.
COMING SOON: We’re excited to share that this fall, our school will offer WatchMeGrow live video streaming! WatchMeGrow gives you secure access to view your child’s classroom in real time while your child is in our care – either from a computer or via mobile app.
We have several long-term employees with over 10 years of experience at La Petite. All of our teachers receive monthly training as well as ongoing training provided by the state. Several of our teachers are bilingual!
