Welcome to Our School
Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare and preschool in Albuquerque, NM! We are conveniently located in the Ladera Shopping Center.
Our school is accredited by the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation, and we proudly offer Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and other age-specific programs designed to support children at every stage of development.
The early years are some of the most important in a child’s life. Experiences during this time have a lasting impact on development and future academic success. Our purpose is to empower children ages 6 weeks to 12 years to develop the skills they need to become creative problem-solvers, lifelong learners, and responsible members of their community. Our educational programs are thoughtfully designed to support each child’s individual growth and help build a strong foundation for future success.
We are fortunate to have a dedicated team of teachers who truly care about the children in our school and work hard to create a positive and engaging learning experience. All staff members complete at least 30 hours of ongoing training each year to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education
My name is Mary-Ann Azpeitia, and I am the Academy Director for this school. I have over twenty years of experience teaching in both early childhood education and elementary education in addition to 3 years of administrative work. My passion has always been to nurture young minds and help them grow into better individuals. My mission is to provide a warm, caring, and safe environment on a daily basis.

My name is Samantha Espinoza and I have been working for La Petite for nine years. I was the two's teacher for six years and the team lead for four years. I recently became the assistant director this past year, and I look forward to making this location a safe place not only for the children, but for our families as well.

My name is Patricia Minero, and I am your Team Lead at La Petite Academy. I have worked in early childhood education since 2016 and have experience supporting children across all age groups. I truly enjoy watching children grow and reach important milestones with my guidance and support. In my free time, I enjoy coloring, bowling, and spending quality time with my family. I look forward to working with you and your children!
