La Petite Academy of Albuquerque

Welcome to our La Petite Academy educational daycare and preschool in Albuquerque, NM! We are located in the Ladera shopping center. My name is Orlina and I am the school director. I have an associate's degree in early childhood education and more than 30 years of experience as a teacher and manger.

We are accredited by the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation and our school offers Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and other Age-Specific programs. We are soon going to go live with WatchMeGrow - this gives you secure access to view your child’s classroom in real time while your child is in our care – either from a computer or via mobile app.

We also have added the Prep Lap to support our school-age children. This program supports school-age students and their families as they face any challenges and changes in their local school district this upcoming school year, with flexible scheduling and even a full-day option.

I run my learning center like everyone involved is a part of my family. I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment and maintain an open door policy for everyone. We plan a lot of fun activities for our children and families to help build strong relationships.

I am fortunate to have a staff that loves their children and is dedicated to making sure they have a great experience at school. All staff is required to receive 30 hours of ongoing training throughout the year.

Also were taking extra precautions to maintain a safe and health environment for our children including: all staff are required to wear a face mask and temps are taken daily, parents are not allowed beyond the front office and all who enter must wear a face mask and for now we do not do tours through the building. We will, however, let you view the classroom on our monitor.
