Flexible Options For School-Age Students
We Help Keep Learning on Track
Supporting our community means not just preparing young children to be ready for elementary school, but also to be there and help keep learning on track when they become school-age students. Structured and supervised, this program, for ages 5 to 12, provides a great start and finish to every school day, while healthy snacks keep them energized and fuel brain power.
The Prep Lab supports school-age students and their families as they face any challenges and changes in their local school district this upcoming school year, with flexible scheduling and even a full-day option.
Now, more than ever, your focus is on ensuring your child’s learning stays on track. We’re here to help. Our teachers have been trained to support local school district distance learning so children stay on course with their studies.
Your child can bring a device from home to complete distance learning assignments with our help. (If you do not have a device, we will do our best to support you.) We’re here to back you up (plus your child’s teachers) and strengthen your child’s ability to finish school work each day.
The Prep Lab teachers are here and ready to:
- Keep children engaged with their elementary school learning platform
- Assist students with completing their daily elementary school assignments
- Share challenging weekly STEM projects
- Further social-emotional development with character-developing activities from our exclusive My Best Self! curriculum
- Connect students with their school and teachers, as needed
My Best Self!
The five clubs of our My Best Self! program for school-age students focus on goal-setting, reflection, and character development to encourage personal growth and lifelong success. With a mix of independent and organized activities, and education and recreation opportunities, our program provides order and routine, while offering an involving experience focused on:
- Homework support
- Team-building opportunities
- Physical activity
We offer strategies, routines, and support in building each student’s independence and sense of responsibility. At the core of every activity, challenge, exploration, and strategy are the 5 MEs.
- Compassionate Me
- Capable Me
- Courageous Me
- Healthy Me
- Social Me
