Welcome to Our School
Welcome to La Petite Academy in Williamsburg, VA!
Here at La Petite, we provide full-time and part-time STEM-based educational opportunities for children ages six weeks to five years of age. Our Infant, Toddler, Twos and Preschool programs are the perfect foundations for learning and growth in all areas of development. Our teachers have over 75 years of combined early childhood education experience and are committed to helping your families along the pathway to school readiness. All of our staff undergo extensive background checks, are CPR/First aid certified, and ensure educational excellence by committing to ongoing learning and annual training's on the latest in Early Childhood Education.
Here at La Petite we have grown accustom to the new normal that has been brought forward by COVID-19. We are focused on the health and safety of our students, families, and our staff. We have taken great measures to ensure the health and safety of everyone in our school. Our health and safety procedures start at the door where we will conduct daily health screenings and temperature checks upon entry. Face masks must be worn by all staff and any adult that enters our center. We are confident in our health and safety practices and know that we are doing everything to keep our children, families, and staff safe!
Safety is always a top priority for our families, and that is why we offer our WatchMeGrow live streaming service to keep you connected with your child throughout the day. These camera's allow us to view all areas of the building, and gives you access to your child's classroom. You can have a peace of mind using the WatchMeGrow app or website knowing your child's education is being fostered in a fun, nurturing, and safe environment.

Hello my name is Alecia Petty and I am delighted to serve as La Petite Academy's facility Director. I have worked in Early Childhood Education for 15 years serving both as a teacher in the classroom and school administrator. As a mother of three children myself I understand the significance of finding a program that will meet all of your child's educational needs. As a professional my goal is to collaborate with the families in my program and beyond to support both the child and their family.
