Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy child care in Stoughton, WI.

We have amazing staff here at La Petite! Many of the teachers have been here for more than five years; our Preschool teacher has been with us for over 35 years! Many of our staff members hold associate's degrees or higher and all are certified in First Aid and CPR.

Our La Petite curriculum focuses on each child as an individual. We know that every child learns, develops and grows at different times. We are here to guide children through many different experiences. We offer flexible enrollment options to fit your schedule.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies; Elementary Education Emphasis

Certifications: Wisconsin's Administrators Credential

I have always had a passion for child education and find every child’s learning journey unique and fascinating. I enjoy researching child development, behaviors, and teaching strategies to better support the children, families, and staff I work with each day. My goal is to create positive, supportive interactions that help everyone succeed. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and attending baseball games.

Ashliey Evans, Assistant Director

Hello! My name is Ashliey, and I am the Assistant Director. With more than 12 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, I am passionate about supporting each child’s growth and development. Watching children learn, gain confidence, and thrive is what inspires me every day. Outside of work, you can find me cheering on my four children at football games and dance classes. As both a mom and educator, I strive to create a warm, supportive environment for every family we serve.
