Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy childcare center in San Antonio, TX! My name is Marie Rosales and I am the academy director. I have 25 years of experience working in the child care profession and during all these years I have acquired experience in the classroom as a teacher, education mentor, and in management.

We offer Infant Care, Preschool and other age-appropriate programs that will help your child as they approach and accomplish their developmental milestones. Our hands-on curriculum enhances their academic skills while daily interaction with other children develops their social skills. We use the Brightwheel mobile app to communicate with families and to keep them updated on their child's daily activities and learning developments. We are also part of the WatchMeGrow Program which allows families to peek in and see their child in action!

Our highly qualified staff has over 2,500 hours of child development experience which they implement in their daily curriculum. The staff and I strive to build a relationship with each family which encourages parents to play an active role in their child's development.

I have worked with children for 25 years and still learning something new everyday. I enjoy working with the families and team of teachers on a daily basis. We take pride in educating and nurturing all the children in our care.

After receiving my associate's degree in child development, I started my journey in child care. I am proud to say that I have 35 years of experience in this field and I take pride in working with families and their children. I am also grateful to my parents and spouse who have supported me.
