Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare in Overland Park, KS! My name is Amber Medlin and I am the director. I have over 15 years of experience in education and a bachelor's degree in business.

La Petite Academy is committed to providing young children and their families with high quality Infant, Toddler, Preschool and School-Age programs in an enriched setting. Our school's curriculum and experienced teachers can help your child develop a lifelong love of learning!

We’re committed to providing simple ways to keep you connected throughout the day while your child is in our care. With live streaming video, you can view your child’s classroom from any device or computer. Plus, get real-time updates with our family communication app.

We closely follow recommendations from state and local authorities, to maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment.

I have a passion for young children. I started as a director of the Cubbie program and after having my three children, I started teaching. I taught at a private school in Shawnee for 15 years and I have been in preschool administration for 10 years. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family.
