Welcome to La Petite Academy in Oklahoma City, OK. We are located on SW 59th Street and May Avenue. We service communities surrounding John Glenn, Arthur, Hillcrest , Coolidge, and Southern Hills Elementary School.
My name is Felicia and I am the Academy Director. I have several years experience as a teacher before becoming a Director. I have an Associates Degree in Child Development and an Oklahoma Directors Credential.
We offer full-day child care for children 12 months to 10 years old through our toddler care, preschool and other early education options. Our program is a 3-STAR facility through OK DHS Reaching for the Stars Program and is nationally accredited by NECPA.
We have many long-term staff members with a combined experience of 173 years in early childhood education. Many of them also have a State of Oklahoma Certificate of Mastery. They also participate in continuous education training throughout the year.
Making each and every family feel important is our utmost priority. We strive to create a warm and welcoming environment and maintain an open-door policy for anyone who would like to talk. We plan a lot of events for everyone to participate in and we work hard to ensure that families meet each other and develop strong relationships, as well.

I worked my way up to this role, starting as a teacher at a sister school in 2017 and then moving into the assistant director role before transferring to this location in 2019!
