Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy here in Oakdale, MN! My name is Sarah and I am the School Director. I am passionate and committed to providing professionalism, high quality care, and a safe, nurturing environment. I am proud to lead a team of talented teachers, with over 50 years of combined experience in early childhood education!

Here, we offer Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and School-Age programs which provide the perfect foundation for learning and development. Each day, your child will be engaged in educational activities that take place in a secure, caring and enriching environment. To provide this exceptional level of learning and care, our dedicated team of teachers participate in ongoing early childhood education training throughout the year.

Sarah Miles, Director

Education: Bachelor’s degree is in Human Development and Child and Family Studies – Early Childhood Professions

Certifications: CPR and First Aid/SUIDS/AHT

I have been working in early childhood education for almost 10 years, finding my passion in the field at a young age, babysitting. I was born and raised on Colorado, relocating to Minnesota in 2020. I cherish my relationships with each child, family and staff member at the center more than anything. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband outside with our dogs and daughter!
