Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare in Kent, WA!

My name is Martha and I am the director. I have been with La Petite Academy for more than 25 years and it is definitely my passion to help care for and educate young children.

I have been with La Petite Academy since 1997. During this time, I have enjoyed being in classrooms, implementing curriculum and ensuring our children are succeeding on their pathway to school readiness and beyond.

Sara Thomson, Team Lead
Education: Early Childhood Education Certificates from Renton Technical College, Completing the CDA program from Bellingham Technical College

I started my journey in early childhood education in 1999. I realized early on that I had found my passion in working with children. At La Petite, I spent almost seven years as the Two's program lead teacher. Since 2013, I have been working in management. I love working with the families and staff!
