La Petite Academy of Concord

Welcome to La Petite Academy in Concord, NC! We are a five-star center located right off of Highway 29 on Transit Court NW. My name is Jasmin and I am the Academy Director. I am a Level III Director with a bachelor's degree and a multitude of experience in the field of early childhood education.

We offer Infant and Toddler Care, Preschool, Pre-K and Jr. Kindergarten programs. Our wonderful and energetic teachers go above and beyond to meet the needs of the children. Together, they have more than 135 years of experience!

We are excited to offer new technology in our School-Age classroom including Prep Lab to support e-learning. Enhancements include iPads featuring apps to create art, music and videos, tripods for movie making, robots for coding, a new gaming system and a secure WiFi network for homework.

We truly value our families and allow the parents to be connected to every experience their child has at school with us. We'll be offering WatchMeGrow live-streaming cameras to stay connected during the day.

In this challenging and uncertain time, we recognize the strain the current climate creates for families. We remain committed to doing everything possible to support our community. That starts with a healthy, safe environment for your child when they're away from home. In efforts to ensure that we are keeping the safest learning community for our young scholar we have implemented a few extra safety precautions:

Protective Masks:Face coverings are required for any adult entering the building (all staff members wear them when working with children).

Taking Temperatures: We're now screening all staff members and children, as well as anyone else that has to enter the building, upon arrival at school to check for raised temperatures or evident symptoms.

Wellness Checks: Wellness checks are being conducted throughout the day. The parents of unwell children are notified immediately.

Limited Building Access: Only staff and students are allowed in the building at this time.
