I'm the Director at La Petite Academy in Bloomington. I began my career here in 2014 as a Lead Teacher and became Director in 2021. Throughout my time at La Petite, I have worked with children of all ages. I am passionate about creating meaningful early learning experiences and building strong relationships with families. As both a Director and a parent with a child enrolled at our school, I understand the importance of a nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Our Montessori Primary classroom, designed for children ages 3 to 6, encourages independence, curiosity, and a love of learning. Through our authentic Montessori curriculum, children learn at their own pace with hands-on, sensory-based activities and self-directed exploration. Our certified Montessori teachers guide each child's development in a carefully prepared classroom filled with authentic Montessori materials that support practical life skills, problem-solving, and early academic learning.

Our Learn as We Grow curriculum follows six core concepts throughout the year. Children explore these same concepts from Toddlers through Pre-K, but how they experience them changes as they grow.
