Welcome to Our School

La Petite Academy of Hoover: a Birmingham, Alabama, daycare and preschool with roots going back to March 1984. We are close to Lake Crest Presbyterian and Hoover Fire Department Station 6. Our families come from Bessemer and Hoover.

You can enroll your child in Infants, Toddlers, Twos, Early Preschool, Preschool, and Pre-K. Families using third-party tuition assistance are welcome, and we would love to explain it on your tour. Infant days follow Learn from the Start®, where singing builds language, and Learn as We Grow® for Toddlers through Pre-K builds learning around play and conversation, like two-year-olds looking at baby pictures to see how they have grown.

Children can try Grow Fit Yoga, which is a fun and creative way to learn yoga poses, or Soccer, which mixes soccer skills with friendship and teamwork. Scroll through our full lineup on this page. Families stay connected through SproutAbout®, which shares real-time photos, video, and care updates, while livestreaming video lets you look in on class. Families love the sense of community here, where teachers, children, and parents feel connected.

Healthy choices are on the menu all day, and our teachers cheer on every new taste. Safety is a promise we keep every day, so every child can feel at home. Our doors are open for tours at La Petite Academy of Hoover, 2330 John Hawkins Parkway, Birmingham, AL 35244; come see a day in our classrooms.
