Jenn Thrasher, Director

Education: Degree in Early Care and Education

Before I began my La Petite journey in 2019, I spent many years in the classroom gaining experience with a variety of age groups and a variety of pedagogies. While I’ve loved my time in the classroom, I feel like I can better support children, families, and teachers in an administrative roll. I have a degree in Early Education and have taught at both local and international education conferences. I always love a challenge, and I’m a true believer in life-long learning.

Education: CDA in progress

I have been a part of the childcare industry since 2010 and am working towards my CDA. I love watching the children grow and learn every day and being a part of that very process. It has always been my passion to aid in the physical and developmental growth of these children and I am very excited that I am able to do it to a new extent.

I have been with La Petite Academy for over 15 years and am working towards my CDA. I am currently the Lead Pre-Kindergarten teacher and absolutely love it. I enjoy getting the children ready for the next big step, Kindergarten! I have a passion for literacy and am a model teacher for our school.
