La Petite Academy of Bakersfield

Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare in Bakersfield, CA. My name is Juliet and I am the Academy Director. I have been in early childhood development for over 30 years and I love helping children grow and learn.

At La Petite Academy, we focus on the development of the whole child in our Infant, Toddler, Preschool and Before and After School care including other early education programs. The staff at La Petite are dedicated to providing the best learning experiences for each child. Every teacher is fully qualified as well as CPR and First Aid certified. Together, we have more than 200 years of teaching experience.

We believe during this time of uncertainty it is even more important that we support our families creating safe and healthy learning environments. We are following the CDC guidelines as well as conducting daily temperature and wellness checks. There is limited access to the classrooms and we have enhanced our cleanliness and hygiene practices.

To help keep learning on track for our school-age students we are offering The Prep Lab that supports distance learning with STEM and character development activities.

We are excited to share our new WatchMeGrow program. WatchMeGrow gives families the opportunity to view their child's activities in their classroom in real time through secured access on your computer, phone, or tablet. Never miss a moment away from your child again.
