Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare in Albuquerque, NM. My name is Sofia Valdez and I am the director. I have 15 years of experience as a teacher and a manager. I also have my Child Development Associate Certificate, a 45-hour training course in early childhood, National Administrator Credential, and am CPR and first aid certified.
It makes me smile to see our children here in Albuquerque learning every day, from tummy time with infants to kindergarten readiness for our pre-k children. More than half of our dedicated teachers have five or more years of teaching experience.
I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for our children and families each day. We maintain an open-door policy for anyone who would like to talk and plan monthly events for our families to come and enjoy activities with their children.
If your child loves to dance they can register with Kids Love To Dance here at our school. Kids LTD meets once a week for 45 minutes and teaches the children basic dance steps along with some tumbling. All classes are held here at the center; what an easy way to enhance your child's learning experience!
