Welcome to La Petite Academy in Albuquerque, NM, a nationally accredited educational daycare serving families with high-quality child care and early education for children ages six weeks to 12 years. Conveniently located on the Southwest side of Albuquerque near the West Mesa area, we offer programs designed to support children through every stage of growth and development, including Infant Care, Preschool, and School-Age programs.
During the school year (August–May), we proudly offer the free New Mexico Pre-K Grant Program, available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., helping children build a strong foundation for kindergarten success.
Our School-Age classroom features exciting technology enhancements designed to encourage creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving, including iPads with apps for art, music, and video creation, moviemaking tools, coding robots, and more.
We’re committed to keeping families connected throughout the day while children are in our care. Through SproutAbout, our exclusive family communication app, parents receive real-time updates and can access live-streaming classroom video for added peace of mind.

I have proudly served as the director of this location for a little over a year and have been part of the La Petite Academy family for 13 years, with more than 18 years of experience in early childhood education. I am currently working toward my degree and am passionate about creating a positive, nurturing environment for children, families, and staff. Learn from the Start™, our exclusive milestone-based curriculum, guides every experience, from sensory play to early language and motor skill building. The classroom is designed with everything teachers need at their fingertips, so they can stay by your baby’s side. Sensory pools and mats, activity gyms, and other age-appropriate toys and materials engage all five senses, inspiring curiosity and exploration in a safe space. With a maximum teacher-child ratio of 1:4, your baby always feels the love and attention they need. Diapers and wipes are also included, giving families one less thing to worry about each day.
