Welcome to Our School
Welcome to La Petite Academy, an educational daycare and preschool in Windsor, CA! At La Petite Academy, we offer educational opportunities for children ages 18 months to 6 years. Here, exceptionally strong social and educational foundations are formed. We hope for our children to love learning as much as our teachers love educating. Staff members participate in training throughout the year.
Keeping our students safe is our top priority here at La Petite Academy. To ensure that we are keeping students, staff and anyone stepping through the doors of our school safe, we are now implementing a health and temperature screening check at drop off. All staff and students are wearing masks while in the school and washing their hands at any transition and every time entering a classroom. We work diligently to ensure that our school remains a safe and healthy environment for all.

Along with these other changes at our school, we are excited to be extending our curriculum as we introduce our new School Age Prep Lab. The Prep Lab workbooks will address the lost class time that children have experienced across the country. These target critical literacy and math skills, allowing children the opportunity to practice these skills so that they will be better prepared to enter the next grade level in the fall. There will be 3 grade-level Prep Lab Student Workbooks for each camp: Kindergarten/1st grade, 2nd/3rd grade, and 4th/5th grade.

Hello... My name is Ms. Mel I am the director at La Petite. I started my career at a privately owned preschool in Santa Rosa where I worked for over 21 years as a Director. I then went to KinderCare in Petaluma as the Center Director and I am now here at La Petite. My goal is to have the top preschool in Sonoma County. I want to have a supportive staff that works together as a family & supports each and every child at La Petite.
