Welcome to Our School
Welcome to La Petite Academy, an Early Preschool located in Sugar Land, Texas. Our school has proudly served families in the Sugar Land, Stafford, and Missouri City communities for more than 40 years. One of our greatest joys is meeting parents who once attended La Petite Academy themselves and now return with children of their own—creating generations of learning and connection.
We serve children from infants through pre-kindergarten, as well as school-age children ages 5–12 who attend Sugar Mill Elementary and Lakeview Elementary in Fort Bend ISD. Our experienced team is one of our greatest strengths, with more than 80 percent of our staff having been with us for over 10 years. Our Pre-K program utilizes the Texas School Ready curriculum and supports kindergarten readiness through an exceptional team, including University of Texas mentors and CDA-certified teachers.

I’ve been working as an early childhood educator since 1992. I started my career as an assistant teacher and have been a director since 2001. The greatest reward in working with children Is to witness so many wonderful firsts and having an impact on their lives.

I have over 30 years experience working with children between the ages of infants to four years old, specializing with three to four years old. I love watching children grow, knowing that I had a part in their growth. My greatest reward is the smile on their faces when they have achieved their goals.
