Welcome to Our School
Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare in Orlando, Florida. Our school offers programs for Infants, Preschool, VPK, and Before- and After-School care in a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. We are licensed through the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), accredited by the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA), and recognized as a Florida Gold Seal Quality Care provider.
For our Infant program, we provide formula, baby cereal, and baby food. Through participation in the Federal Food Program, children receive nutritious meals that include milk, whole grains, and water, with no fried foods. We also supply diapers or pull-ups and wipes for children ages two and under.
Our teachers participate in monthly professional development and ongoing state training. All staff members complete Level 2 FBI and FDLE background screenings and are certified in pediatric CPR and First Aid. Many of our educators have been part of our school community for five to 13 years, reflecting our commitment to consistency and quality care.
Conveniently located in South Orlando near Central Florida Parkway and Orange Blossom Trail, our school provides transportation to Waterbridge Elementary School. We proudly serve families in South Chase, Meadow Woods, Hunters Creek, and surrounding South Orlando communities.
Our VPK program includes technology enhancements such as iPads with age-appropriate learning apps and student laptops with educational software designed to support kindergarten readiness and developmental assessments.

I started working with children 15 years ago and have been with La Petite for ten years. I taught English to preschoolers in my home country. I love working with kids - it might be challenging, but it's very rewarding. My three-year-old son and I love being part of the La Petite family.
