Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy early learning center in Oregon, WI. This location has been serving the Oregon community since 1999.

Our educational child care center includes care for Infants starting at six weeks old, Toddlers, Twos, Early Preschool, Preschool, PreK, Private Jr. K and School Age before and after school care. We offer off school day care for school agers and care during snow days when the public school is closed.

We offer enrichment programs throughtout the year. This includes Spanish, Yoga from infants to PreK, Kindermusik and soccer in the fall and spring. We have an outstanding summer camp called Wonder Camp that runs June through August. Themes are followed school wide with each day filled with curiosity, imagination and discovery. We provide weekly onsite field trips for the whole school. We have a large playground area which makes outdoor play fun year round but especially in the summer when we have weekly water play activities. In Spring, we plant a garden that we watch grow, water, and harvest into the fall.

We’re committed to keeping parents connected throughout the day with access to live streaming video of your child’s classroom, plus real-time updates with diaper changes/bathroom breaks, meals and nap times with our exclusive mobile app for families called Sprout About.

Our staff are First Aid and CPR trained, mandated reporter trained, and abusive head trauma prevention trained. We also have monthly staff meetings and twice a year teacher in services, which equals 15+ continuing education hours.

Children explore learning centers, participate in small- and large-group activities, spend time outdoors, and enjoy plenty of opportunities for choice and play. Meals, snacks, and rest are also built into the day, creating a familiar routine that helps children feel comfortable while keeping each day fun and engaging. Daily activities are designed with your child’s age and developmental stage in mind.

Our teachers regularly observe your child’s development and use those insights to plan learning experiences that support their individual needs and growth. Each child has an individual portfolio that grows with them as they move from one age group to the next, capturing their learning, milestones, and accomplishments along the way. Teachers use developmental checklists, work samples, photos, and observations to understand how your child is progressing and identify opportunities to build new skills. Families stay connected every step of the way through SproutAbout updates, family-teacher conferences, and daily conversations with their child’s teachers.

Moving to a new classroom is an exciting milestone. Children gradually visit their new classroom, meet their teachers, and become familiar with new routines before the transition. Teachers work together to support continuity, while families receive regular updates throughout the process.
