Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy, an educational daycare in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We are a state-approved Early Childhood Education provider and have proudly served families in the Fort Wayne community for more than 30 years. Our school offers a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can grow, play, and learn with confidence.

Our center is fully licensed by the state of Indiana, holds a Level 4 rating in Paths to Quality, and is NAEYC accredited. At La Petite Academy, our Infant Care through Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs provide a strong foundation for early learning and development.

Our dedicated teachers are committed to continuous growth and excellence. Each team member completes at least 25 hours of professional development annually and is CPR and First Aid certified. Ongoing monthly trainings and state-supported learning opportunities ensure our staff stays current with best practices. We’re proud that more than half of our team holds degrees related to the age group they serve.

We love La Petit and especially his current teacher! She has brought our shy boy out of his shell and he adores her. Dora Kurpierz, Director

Education: Bachelor's Degree Elementary Education

Dora has over 20 years of experience in early childhood education and care. She brings a deep commitment to creating nurturing, developmentally appropriate environments where children can thrive. She holds a degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University and has led curriculum development, staff training, and family engagement programs throughout her career.

Hi, my name is Cass, and I bring over 12 years of experience in early childhood education. I’m dedicated to creating safe, nurturing, and well-organized environments where children can thrive. I enjoy supporting our teachers through guidance and clear routines, and I truly value strong communication and family engagement to help ensure every child feels seen, supported, and confident as they grow.
