Hello, Bradenton! La Petite Academy on SR 70 E opened its doors in December 1987 as a daycare and preschool, close to Tara Golf & Country Club and Manatee Technical College. We are recognized for quality through NECPA accreditation. Those who care for your child hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, a Director's Credential, and CPR and First Aid certifications.
Programs here cover ages 6 weeks to 12 years: Infants, Toddlers, Twos, Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-K, and Before and After School Care. We also offer the state-funded FL Voluntary Pre-K (VPK), right here at our school. We gladly accept third-party assistance, so bring questions to your tour. Babies explore through Learn from the Start®, and Learn as We Grow® for Toddlers through Pre-K turns everyday moments into discovery, like two-year-olds spotting seasonal changes outdoors.

I have worked in the early childhood education field for over 25 years and come from a long line of educators, which inspired my lifelong passion for teaching and supporting young learners. I moved from Colorado to Florida in 2024 to enjoy the beautiful beaches and warmer weather. I believe early childhood education builds the foundation that helps shape our future leaders, and I am dedicated to creating a positive, nurturing environment where every child can grow and succeed.

Learn from the Start™, our exclusive milestone-based curriculum, guides every experience, from sensory play to early language and motor skill building. Sensory pools and mats, activity gyms, and other age-appropriate toys and materials engage all five senses, inspiring curiosity and exploration in a safe space.
