Welcome to La Petite Academy in North Port! My name is Viodelka Moreira and I am the Academy Director. We invite you to learn about how our nurturing and experienced staff, along with our proprietary curriculum will provide your family with the best possible early childhood program in the area. Our curriculum begins with "Learn from the Start" for our youngest learners (six weeks to two years) and grows with your child's age and abilities.

Give Your Child a Great Start With VPK

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is a free daily, 4-hour program that includes breakfast and lunch, with the option of extended wrap care. This full-day learning experience enhances your child’s school readiness journey. Every child who turns 4 by September 1 may be eligible for free VPK. Schedule a tour to learn more.

Education: Master's in Early Childhood Education

Certifications: Certified Teacher

My name is Viodelka Moreira and I've been in the education field for over 20 years. I was born in Panama and raised in New York City. I worked as the Director of Education in New York for over 5 years, overseeing four Head Start schools on the Upper West Side. I'm a certified teacher with my Associates in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Early Childhood Education. My passion has and will always be early childhood education.

Greetings, I'm Brittany, I've been in the early childhood field since 2013 beginning as a nursery teacher. I've worked with special needs, and all ages ranging from elementary education internships, early head start, and after school care programs. My managerial career consists of being an assistant director, director and associate director. My certifications include an FCCPC, FL directors' credential, and RBT certification for autism therapy. I look forward to getting to know you soon!

Hi everyone, I'm Stefany, raised in Florida. I have been in the Early Childhood Education field for 12 years. I've enjoyed working with all ages up to VPK. Now as my role as Administrative Assistant, I love being able to help guide our students, parents and especially teachers here at La Petite. As for my personal life, I love spending quality time with my daughter, going to the beach, parks, and staying active with her.

Education: Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education Certification: National Administration Credential and Florida Director Credential

I have always enjoyed working with children and I am passionate about teaching them new skills. My goal as an Education Manager is to help children and teachers to reach their potential in their journey towards the developmental milestones.
