Welcome to Our School

Hello, families! My name is Brittany Rueve, and I am the academy director at La Petite Academy here in Fleming Island. I have been with La Petite Academy for 11 years and over 15 years' experience in early childhood education field. My goal is to provide the best learning environment for all children who attend our center.

Established in 1991, our academy offers children a nurturing and supportive environment in our Infant Care, Preschool and other early education programs. We are accredited with the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation.

Our teachers have more than 150 years of combined early childhood experience. Individualized lesson plans enable our teachers to accommodate the needs of our children, and stimulating activities keep learning fun. Staff members stay current with monthly training sessions and all teachers and management staff are certified in CPR and First Aid.

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is a free daily, 4-hour program that includes breakfast and lunch, with the option of extended wrap care.
